Breaking News: Jaishankar Hits Back at Pakistan, Calls It the “Epicenter of Global Terrorism” | ABP NEWS

At the United Nations, India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar strongly criticized Pakistan, calling it the epicenter of global terrorism. He emphasized that countering terrorism remains India’s top priority, as it combines bigotry, violence, intolerance, and fear. Jaishankar reminded the international community that India has faced the threat of cross-border terrorism since independence. He pointed out that many major global terror attacks have roots in Pakistan, with numerous individuals from the country appearing on UN’s list of designated terrorists. Referring to the April 2025 Pahalgam attack, in which innocent tourists were brutally killed, Jaishankar said it was the latest example of “cross-border barbarism.” He underlined that India will continue to exercise its right to defend its citizens and ensure that the perpetrators and organizers of such attacks are brought to justice. This firm stance signals India’s growing resolve to hold Pakistan accountable on global platforms.
