Breaking News: At SCO Summit, Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan- "India Will Respond Strongly to Terrorism | ABP NEWS

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Defense Ministers' Summit in China, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a powerful warning against Pakistan, accusing it of supporting cross-border terrorism. Singh made it clear that India has adopted a policy of “zero tolerance” towards terrorism and that any future attack from Pakistani soil would be met with a stronger response—“an eye for an eye, a stone for a brick.” Citing the April 27 Pahalgam terror attack where 26 civilians, including a Nepali national, were killed by The Resistance Front (a proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba), Singh detailed India’s swift and firm retaliation through “Operation Sindoor,” launched on May 7. He declared that India will continue to dismantle terrorist infrastructure across the border when necessary. In his address, Singh criticized nations that use terrorism as a state policy and shelter terrorists, calling such double standards unacceptable. He emphasized that peace and prosperity cannot coexist with terrorism or the spread of weapons of mass destruction among non-state actors. Singh also called for global unity against terrorism and highlighted India’s right to self-defense, reaffirming India’s leadership role in counterterrorism efforts across the SCO region.
