BPSC Student Protest: Violent Clashes Erupt in Patna Over 70th PT Exam Cancellation

Protests erupted in Patna today as BPSC candidates demanded the cancellation of the 70th Preliminary Test (PT) exam, with demonstrators engaging in violent clashes across the city. The protests were organized by political leader Pappu Yadav, who also called for a statewide Bihar Bandh in support of the demand.During the protests, vehicles were vandalized and incidents of arson were reported in various parts of Patna. The bandh gained backing from AIMIM and the Azad Samaj Party, while the Mahagathbandhan parties, despite being approached by Pappu Yadav for support, remained absent from the protests. The unrest highlights the growing frustration among BPSC aspirants, who are seeking justice over the examination process. The situation has led to increased tensions in Bihar, with the state's government facing criticism for its handling of the protest and the issues surrounding the exam. The incident marks a significant escalation in the ongoing dispute between the students and the state administration.
