Commuters in Gaya travel in fear over poor condition of bridges in the district

For daily commuters and drivers of heavy duty vehicles, crossing one of these bridges is a matter of great concern. Crossing these structurally deficient bridges is dangerous as they are almost a hundred years old. With multiple cracks in the structure and potholes on the surface, many bridges on National Highway 2, passing through the Sherghati subdivision of Gaya, are in a dilapidated condition and are crying for immediate attention from the authorities.
