BJP fields Sunny Deol from Gurdaspur | Master Stroke

The BJP announced actor Sunny Deol, who joined it on Tuesday, as its candidate from Punjab's Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency and retained its sitting MP Kirron Kher from Chandigarh.

The Gurdaspur seat was long held by actor-turned-politician and Union Minister Vinod Khanna.Millions of people came out to vote as over 50 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3 p.m. across 117 Lok Sabha constituencies for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections spread over 13 states and 2 Union Territories.
