"Coronavirus a notified disaster," says MHA; 83 infected | Panchnama

Ministry of Home Affairs has declared that the novel coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak is a "notified disaster". In a brief two-page release on Saturday, the government said money from each state's Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) would be used for temporary accommodation and supply of food, water and medical care for patients and people in quarantine camps. The MHA also announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the relatives of deceased.
