Before going to the SCO Summit, PM Modi gave a BIG Statement | Samarkand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a statement ahead of his visit to Uzbekistan. In this statement issued by the PMO, the PM said that I will visit Samarkand at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The heads of state of China, Pakistan and Russia are also attending the SCO summit.

PM Modi said that at the SCO summit, I look forward to exchanging views on topical issues, expanding and deepening cooperation within the group. Under the Uzbek presidency, many decisions are likely to be taken for mutual cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, culture and tourism.
