“I came to Korea for the first time, and it feels really nice,” said Jha during their conversation.
Charlie responded with gratitude, saying, "Whatever I have achieved is because of Bihar. Despite being from Korea, the way I speak Bihari languages and represent the state is why I feel honoured to be recognised by MP Jha."
Jha also took the opportunity to speak on the purpose of the delegation’s visit: "The aim of this multi-party delegation is to showcase India’s clear stand against terrorism and expose Pakistan-backed cross-border terrorism."
The wholesome exchange between the MP and the YouTuber has gone viral across Indian social media, with many applauding it as a beautiful blend of cultural diplomacy and national pride.
Before meeting Charlie, the Indian parliamentary team also met with Indian Ambassador to South Korea Amit Kumar. The delegation focused on building a Korea-specific diplomatic strategy and reiterated India’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, with references to Operation Sindoor and the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Jha praised Charlie for his sincere efforts in keeping Indian traditions alive abroad, especially Bihar’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage.
