Women Deboarded From Flight For Wearing Crop Tops, Asked To 'Cover Up' — WATCH
The woman said she had to pay $1,000 to book a new flight with another airline.
Two women have alleged that they were deboarded from a Spirit Airline for wearing crop tops. "We were harassed by a male flight attendant who told us to cover up because we were wearing crop tops," one of the women shared in a long Instagram post.
"It's just humiliating having to be escorted and treated like a criminal just because we were wearing crop tops," the woman said. One of the girls had her birthday and they were flying from Los Angeles to New Orleans when the crewmember singled them out.
They had boarded the plane in pants in sweaters but removed them to cool off, which prompted said flight attendant to chastise them over their choice of runway attire.

This is usually not the type of post I share on here but wanted to share my story because I'm still in shock- Please help us by sharing this post since we already tried to contact Spirit Airlines and no answer until now. Everyone else (including flight staff) agreed though that there was nothing wrong with what we were wearing and that crop tops are not against their dress code," she wrote in the post.

"This is appalling service, that in 2024 we are getting kicked out of a plane for ONE MALE flight attendant not liking our shirts. Everyone working at the airport agreed this was an act of prejudice, discrimination and misogynist and that we should take legal actions. We spoke with the police which said the same. We were refused their full names, a refund, rebooked flights or anything all because of a sexist and rude flight attendant," she added in the post.
