Viral Video: Construction Workers Turn Old Scooter Into Electric Pulley
In the clip shared by Mahindra on the micro-blogging site Twitter, a group of construction workers are seen using an old Bajaj scooter lifting heavy items at a construction site.
Industrialist Anand Mahindra is known to share interesting videos on social media platforms. From thought-provoking things to desi jugaads his posts amuses the internet. In his latest post, the business tycoon shares a video of a scooter customised to power a pulley.
In the clip shared by Mahindra on the micro-blogging site Twitter, a group of construction workers are seen using an old Bajaj scooter lifting heavy items at a construction site. The vide opens with a man seated on a scooter, which has been secured in one place at a construction site. It shows pulley has been attached to a rotating wheel with the help of metal rods to the scooter, while the other is tied to the bags. As the man rotates the accelerator of the scooter, cements bags are lifted to the top of the under-construction building.
Sharing the video Mahindra wrote, "I guess that's why we call them ‘power'trains. Many ways to utilise the power of vehicle engines. This would be even better (and quieter!) with an e-scooter, once their cost is brought down or they are available second-hand."
The video has so far garnered 142.1K views and several comments.
