This Expensive Apartment Complex Comes With 'Porsche-Sharing' Service

Luxury One Sydney Harbour Complex buyers enjoy perks like waterfront views, pools, a wine gallery, and access to Porsche EVs, including Macan and Taycan.

The wealthiest homebuyers in this Australian city are not just purchasing designer apartments with stunning waterfront views—they're also gaining access to an exclusive luxury perk waiting downstairs, including a fleet of Porches.

Aside from the stellar waterfront views and access to other luxury perks, residents of One Sydney Harbour, have five-star amenities such as a 24-hour concierge, multiple pools, a private wine gallery, state-of-the-art wellness facilities and access to either a Porsche Macan or Taycan.

Lendlease, the developer of the waterfront property, recently announced a collaboration with Outbound to launch Porsche’s new fleet of electric vehicles (EVs), exclusively available for residents of the building.

Instead of spending $145,000 to own the base model Porsche Macan EV or $194,000 for the Porsche Taycan, residents will be able to reserve the cars for a fraction of the cost, according to a report in realestate.com.au.

All the residents have to do, is use the Outbound app, to reserve, pay and even unlock the Porsche from the comfort of their penthouse. According to The Weekly Times, the option to car-share with just a click of an app is gaining popularity in affluent areas like Barangaroo, providing access to premium vehicles without the hassle of ownership.

The luxury three-residential skyscraper complex in Barangaroo, was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano. He is known for designing some of the world’s most iconic buildings, including The Shard in London and the Whitney Museum in New York. Aside from him, the interiors of the building have been crafted by Daniel Goldberg of State and Craft.

The complex has sold 95% of its apartments, with total sales exceeding $4 billion. The remaining units are priced steeply, starting at $1.68 million for a one-bedroom, $3 million for a two-bedroom, and $5.3 million for a three-bedroom.
