'Don't Touch Me': Netizens Fume After Religious Preacher Calls Man ‘Untouchable' | Watch

New Delhi: In a video going viral on the internet, a religious preacher, identified as Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, was seen calling a man “untouchable” when the man tried to touch the preacher's feet, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri leaned back, saying “Don’t touch me, you are untouchable”.

After seeing this discriminatory behavior, people started expressing anger on social media. People started demanding that there should be an FIR against Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Even #ArrestDhirendraShastri was trending on Twitter.

Tweeting this video, a user wrote, that Brahmin priest and storyteller Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri discriminates in public and openly says, "Don't touch me you are untouchable". "Will the police register an FIR against this Casteist person," he added.

Even before this, he has been embroiled in controversy due to his statement. He once told the stage, "If you don’t wake up now then you will have to suffer it in your village also, so it is requested that everyone unite and get bulldozers run at the house of stone-throwers. In some days we are also going to buy bulldozers and one who will throw stones at Sanatani Mahatmas, Saints and Indian Sanatani Hindus and will run bulldozers at his house."

"In the land of Sanatanis, if someone is pelting stones on Ram Navami, then all Hindus, wake up, unite, take up arms in your hands and say that we Hindus are one," he added.
