‘Most Dangerous, Poisonous…’: Amruta Fadnavis Poses With Reptiles, Impresses Followers

Banker Amruta Fadnavis took her social media followers by surprise after she posted photos posing with two reptiles, a snake, and a wild lizard. Donning a red dress, the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s wife pulled a fun pose with the reptiles. "The most dangerous, poisonous, and ferocious animals are only humans!" she captioned the photos. Amruta often keeps her followers posted with a diverse range of posts from professional updates to health and lifestyle.

Amruta hit the headlines earlier this year after the Mumbai Police’s Special Investigation Team filed an over 700-page chargesheet against three persons in connection with the Amruta Fadnavis extortion case.
The accused against whom an FIR was registered included Anil Jaisinghani, his daughter Aniksha, and his cousin Nirmal, as per the police, who allegedly bribed and blackmailed Amruta Fadnavis. All three people were named in the 733-page chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police in connection with the extortion case.

The Malabar Hill police station in south Mumbai had on February 20 registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused for allegedly threatening to make public certain audio and video clips that purportedly show Amruta Fadnavis accepting favours from Aniksha.
They were booked for offences under Section 120B (criminal conspiracy) and Section 385 (extortion) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 (induce public servant using corrupt means) and 12 (abetment) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
