Delhi-NCR Floods: This Bull Rescued Amid Yamuna Flooding Is Priced Over Rs 1 Crore
A video of two buffalos being rescued from the flood-hit region with the help of ring boys was also shared by the NDRF.
Heavy rain in Delhi for the last few days and the overflowing Yamuna river have created flood-like situation in several parts of the city. The National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) has been pressed into action to carry out evacuation effort. And one of the evacuees is an exceptionally valuable bull that is from the coveted 'Pritam' bloodline, which costs a whopping Rs 1 crore. Pictures of the rescue was put up by the NDRF on it's official Twitter handle on Saturday.

As roads turned into little rivers, due to heavy rain and overflowing Yamuna river, the authorities continued the rescue work. Dogs and cattles were also among the evacuees.
Around 550 hectares of land along the banks of the Yamuna River in Noida have been flooded, leading to the displacement of more than 5,000 people, reported PTI.
Until Friday, the NDRF along with the Delhi Police and other agencies evacuated 25,478 people since the Yamuna River crossed the danger mark, the news agency further reported.
Sixteen teams of NDRF have been deployed for rescue operations in flood-affected areas of the national capital.
