Video Of Men Stopping Train Door From Closing Goes Viral, Delhi Metro Reacts
In the video two men standing near the gate of a Metro coach can be seen extending their feet and obstructing the door from closing.
From unruly travellers inside train coaches to people behaving indecently at station premises and making reels, Delhi metro has witnessed some unexpected behaviour from passengers in the last few months. Despite repeated warnings by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the "nuisance" has continued. In another such incident, a video of two men trying to stop a metro door from closing by using their feet has gone viral on the internet. The unruly incident was recorded at Karol Bagh metro station and was shared in March but came to the notice of netizens just recently.
Taking note of the matter DMRC said it is a "punishable offence".
Aman, a Twitter user, posted the video with the caption a caption in Hindi which when translated into English reads, "These are the kind of people due to whom the metro gets late."
“Hi. Obstructing the door of a Metro train is a punishable offence. Passengers may kindly contact DMRC Helpline on 155370 if they notice such behaviour,” DMRC tweeted from the official Twitter handle.

Since being shared the video of the unruly act has gone viral and accumulated 27,000 views so far.
