Coldplay's Viva La Vida Turns To 'Viva La Vivaad' After Fans Trade Blows During Ahmedabad Concert: WATCH

Two fans got into an ugly brawl as Coldplay performed Viva La Vida on stage at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

British band Coldplay’s Sunday concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad took an unexpected turn when two fans got into a heated argument, which turned violent, ending in both of them exchanging blows while those around them trying to pacify the situation. The heated brawl broke out when the band was performing their iconic song Viva la Vida.

In the now-viral video, two men can be seen trading punches and slapping each other as those around them rush to separate them to bring things under control. Some of the women, who seemed to be the relatives of the men fighting, can also be heard screaming and stopping them.

How Internet Reacted

The video, shared on X, quickly garnered attention, leaving social media users amused by the irony of the situation. They gave their spin to Coldplay songs while leaving humorous comments on the post regarding the incident.

A social media user commented, “Viva la VIVAAD,” giving their spin to the band performing its popular song Viva La Vida in the background.

“Mein soch hi rahi thi ki ek bhi kalesh nahi hua Coldplay mein? (I was thinking how come not even one brawl erupted at the concert,)” an X user wrote.

Another user wrote, "yellow (incorrect emoji) yeh lo (punch and correct emoji)," referring to Coldplay's track Yellow.

A third comment read, "The fight will guide you home," another reference to the line “Lights will guide you home” from Coldplay's song Yellow.

Another wrote, "Sky full of Scars,”, alluding to another Coldplay track, A Sky Full Of Stars. A user wrote, "When uncle took fix you seriously,” in a pun on Coldplay's song Fix You.

Another user said, “heartening to see uncles getting comfortable using their fists.”

"Imagine the situation if they’d served alcohol! Indians bina kalesh kare kuch bhi event nahi kar sakte (Indians can’t conduct an event without a fight.)," another social media user commented.

Coldplay concluded their Music of the Spheres World Tour in India on Sunday with a final show in Ahmedabad. The tour began in Mumbai on January 18, following which they held three concerts in the city before heading to Gujarat's Ahmedabad for two shows.

In another video, which has surfaced on social media, some of the people were seen selling tickets in black outside the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
