'Peak Bengaluru': Google Employee Leaves Job, Turns Uber Driver To 'Explore City'

The driver moved to the city from Hyderabad less than a month ago and was working with Uber to explore the city.

Bengaluru residents wile travelling in the city, often come across cab or auto drivers who have had worked in the corporate sector but left their job for some very strange reason. A similar incident happened with Raghav Dua, who found out that his Uber Moto driver was a former Google employee and left the company in Hyderabad and moved to Bengaluru to to "explore the city".

Though the driver's identity has not been revealed, Dua said he moved to the city from Hyderabad less than a month ago and was working with Uber to explore the city.

Taking to the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter Dua shared a video of him taking a Uber Moto ride and wrote, "My Uber Moto driver is ex-google, moved to Bangalore 20 days ago from Hyderabad. He is just doing this to explore the city it seems,"

Since being shared, the clip has amassed close to 64,000 views, and tons of comments.

"That's truly fascinating! I hope you had an interesting conversation during your ride!," commented one user on the post.

"Yes i've also experienced this personally," wrote another user.

"It took him 20 days just to explore Bangalore City?. Now he might understand Bangalore traffic," joked a third.

While a fourth wrote, "designation might not be software Engineer at google."
