Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: From Erica Fernandes to Parth Samthaan, MEET the star cast of Ekta Kapoor’s show

Which actress is playing Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay is the question on everyone’s mind? The new promo of KZK 2 gave us a small glimpse of Komolika’s back, making it almost confirmed that Hina Khan is playing the role in the show. Urvashi Dholakia had played the role of Komolika in the original show.

‘Student of the Year’ actor Sahil Anand is essaying the role of Anurag Basu’s brother-in-law Anupam Sengupta in Kasautii 2. Manish Goel had played the role of Nivedita Basu’s husband in the original show.

‘Chandra Nandini’ actress Pooja Banerjee is playing the role of Anurag Basu’s sister Nivedita Basu in KZK 2. Poonam Narula had played the role in the original show.

Kali Prasad Mukherjee, who has been part of several shows like Tere Liye and Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum produced by Ekta Kapoor, is portraying the role of Prerna Sharma’s dad.

'Raees' actor Uday Tikekar, who has done a couple of shows on the small screen, is playing Anurag Basu’s father Moloy Basu in KZK 2. Deepak Qazir had essayed the role of Anurag’s dad in the original show.

Shubhaavi Choksey, who was recently seen in Janhvi Kapoor-Ishaan Khatter’s ‘Dhadak’, is playing the role of Anurag Basu’s mother Mohini Basu in the reboot version of Kasautii. Kannu Gill had essayed the role of Anurag’s mom in the original show featuring Shweta and Cezanne.

Kanupriya Pandit, also seen in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, is playing the role of Prerna’s mother- Veena Rajesh Sharma. Nandita Thakkar had essayed the role of Prerna’s mom in the original show.

Parth Samthaan, who shot to fame with ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’, is essaying the role of Anurag Basu in Kasautii’s reboot version. Cezanne Khan played the role of Anurag in the original show which ran for seven long years.

Erica Fernandes, who played the role of Sonakshi Bose in ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, is playing the role of Prerna Sharma in KZK 2. The beautiful actress has stepped into the shoes of Shweta Tiwari, who played Prerna in the original show.

Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay is all set to hit the airwaves from Tuesday (September 25) on Star Plus at 8pm. The romantic saga has been making waves ever since the first promo was unveiled by the makers.
