Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday said that he has decided to soon launch a national party, said PTI. The national party is likely to be named Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), said a Times of India report.

Meanwhile earlier on Sunday, former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswami met with CM KCR at Pragati Bhavan. In a tweet, TRS party wrote, "They discussed various important issues including the role of regional parties in the current situation and the key role that CM KCR should play in national politics."
Ealier, CM KCR called on former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda at his residence here and discussed "topics of national importance". The meeting was long a key topic of discussion in political corridors in connection with bids to form a 'third front' opposing both the BJP and the Congress.
The CM had earlier held a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence. According to news agency ANI reports, issues related to national politics, federalism, states' roles in the nation's growth, the Centre's policies and several other issues were discussed during the meeting.
He also predicted that a non-BJP government will definitely come to power at the Centre in the next elections and assured farmers that his party will provide free electricity to farmers across the country.
