Telangana Secures Investment Worth Over Rs 40,000 Crores At World Economic Forum In Davos

In an address, Revanth Reddy promoted Hyderabad as the city poised to capitalise on the convergence of healthcare and software, aiming to become the Medical Tourism capital of Asia.

During the three-day visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) summit, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy clinched investment deals worth Rs 40,232 crore at Davos in Switzerland. On Friday, an official release stated that companies such as Adani Group, JSW, Tata Technologies, BL Agro, and others have shown interest in making investments in Telangana.

During two addresses at Davos as part of an exclusive World Economic Forum dialogue series with global leaders, CM Revanth Reddy called for urgent collaboration among world leaders to transform farming into a profitable activity. In a separate address, he promoted Hyderabad as the city poised to capitalise on the convergence of healthcare and software, aiming to become the Medical Tourism capital of Asia.

Emphasizing the need for universal and affordable healthcare, the CM shared his vision of utilizing digital technologies to extend top-notch medical services to every remote corner and citizen of Telangana. Global business leaders, including major Indian entrepreneurs, expressed strong and unequivocal support for the new Telangana government's business vision during discussions on investment opportunities with the Chief Minister.

Following the Davos trip, the CM and his team arrived in London. Reddy initiated the London tour with a three-hour-long discussion with officials and experts of the body governing River Thames. During the discussion, he outlined his vision for rejuvenating the Musi River flowing through Hyderabad and sought to understand the management of the River Thames, gathering insights and collating best practices.

Following the conclusion of the Davos trip, the Chief Minister (CM) and his team arrived in London. Reddy initiated the London tour by engaging in a three-hour-long discussion with officials and experts from the body overseeing the River Thames. During the discussion, he articulated his vision for revitalizing the Musi River, which flows through Hyderabad.
