Telangana: Karimnagar Sees Spike In Covid Cases
As of Monday, Telangana recorded 2,447 novel coronavirus cases taking the total number of active cases in the state to 22,197 persons.
Hyderabad: The number of Covid cases has suddenly increased in the last two days in the industrial area of Ramagundam.
The unrest in the area began as the number of cases increased due to the Omicron cases. Six patients were admitted to the Corona Center at Godavarikhani Government Regional Hospital. A total of 1,143 tests were performed on Monday, with 310 persons diagnosed with Covid.
A maximum of 173 people were tested at a hospital in Godavarikhani, and 48 of them tested positive for corona. 150 people were tested at the Rapid Test Center and 65, and 29 out of 71 people at the Urban Health Center in Addagunta village were diagnosed with corona positive.
At Singareni RG1 and RG2 hospitals, 242 people were tested, and 119 people diagnosed positive for corona.
Experts believe that the corona spread is severe as more people work in less space in Singareni mines. On the other hand, an area like the Ramagundam railway station where the junction is located has many people from the surrounding districts coming to avail the training facility.

On Monday, the health department administered 80,138 Covid tests, with the findings of 10,732 samples still pending. On Monday, 2,295 people had recovered, with a 96.31 percent recovery rate.
In the State, a total of 3, 07, 09,658 Covid-19 tests have been performed, with 7,11,656 people testing positive and 6,85,399 people recovering.
