'Congress Just Copying KCR's Scheme For Dalits,' Owaisi On Party's Poll Promise In Telangana
Regarding the poll promise of providing Rs 12 lakh aid to Dalits in Telangana by the Congress, Owaisi said already KCR is giving Rs 10 Lakhs and Congress is just talking about increasing Rs 2 Lakhs.
AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday said that the Congress is merely copying the scheme for Dalits that has already been introduced by Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), news agency ANI reported. Regarding the poll promise of providing Rs 12 lakh aid to SC/ST families in Telangana by the Congress, Owaisi stated that already KCR is giving Rs 10 Lakhs and Congress is just talking about increasing Rs 2 Lakhs.
"Already CM of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) is giving Rs 10 Lakhs and they (Congress) are just talking about increasing Rs 2 Lakhs. KCR is the one who brought the scheme for Dalits, they (Congress) are just copying. It's said that even to copy you need to be wise...," said the AIMIM chief, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Regarding the potential formation of a Third Front, the Hyderabad MP stated, "I have been telling the Telangana CM to take the lead in this. There are several political parties, leaders in every state who are ready and if CM KCR takes lead, then plenty of work can be done".
