Being Released From House Arrest, Irked TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy Warns To Fight Against TRS' Unlawful Acts
He ripped apart the state government by saying placing him under house arrest was a fearful act by the TRS government and the government had violated his parliamentary right as an MP
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Revanth Reddy tears apart the TRS government after being released from house arrest. He asserted that the KCR government had violated parliamentary privileges of a Member of Parliament by not allowing him to attend the parliament session on Monday. As reported earlier by ABP Live, Reddy was placed under house arrest in the wee hours of Monday and was stopped to go out of his house.
He said that he was ready to go to parliament and the police placed him under house arrest and this was because the government sold some properties to their relatives for a lesser value than the government price.

When asked about the reason behind his arrest, he said, "I had warned the state govt that I'll give complaint to PM, HM & CBI Director in Delhi over this & raise the issue in Parliament. If we raise voices against state govt's loot, they book us, arrest us & place us under house arrest. We'll fight against it."

Speaking about the repercussions of his house arrest, the TPCC chief said: "I have complained to the Speaker about my house arrest. In the days to come, I am going to raise this issue before the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Parliament. I will keep working towards getting this tender cancelled."
