Taking to Twitter, Reddy said: "The land auction by the state government was to benefit ‘FEW’ who grabbed lands for a lesser price thereby causing huge loss to state exchequer. Telangana CMO should immediately cancel the land sale."

In response to Reddy's allegations, Telangana Rashtra Samithi General Secretary B Venkateshwarlu slammed the TPCC chief by saying that he should stop blackmailing politics and blamed that Reddy's allegations are all baseless.

Hours after this war of words between TPCC chief and TRS, Hyderabad police was deployed out of Reddy's house and did not allow him outside ahead of the parliament session commencement on Monday.

"Telangana govt has become 'Hitler raj'. What democratic principles do Chandrasekhar Rao &his son want to follow? I condemn Reddy's arrest and demand his release. We will raise this in Parliament": Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Telangana Cong President Revanth Reddy's house arrest.
