'Script Prepared By Congress Workers In Telangana': BRS, BJP Slam Rahul For ‘KCR's Remote With Modi’ Remark

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy while responding to Rahul Gandhi's "KCR's remote with Modi" remark, said that he has gone overboard with Congress' win in Karnataka. He added that BJP won't form an alliance with BRS or Cong in Telangana State Assembly Elections.

Following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's "KCR's remote with Modi" remark and him calling Bharat Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) as "B team of BJP" in Telangana, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy hit out at him by saying that he has "gone overboard" after winning Karnataka. Reddy said that BJP would not form an alliance with either BRS or Congress in the upcoming Telangana elections, reported news agency ANI. On the other hand, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan termed Gandhi's speech as 'baseless'.

The Union Minister said, "Congress fought the election in Telangana by compromising with BRS. We will not ally with BRS or Congress. He (Rahul Gandhi) is going overboard and speaking, just because they won one election in Karnataka."

Gandhi on Sunday addressed a public meet in Khammam where he described the state's ruling party as "BJP's B Team" and said the Congress has defeated BJP in Karnataka, and similarly, it will defeat BJP's B team, BRS, in Telangana as well.  While addressing the people, he said, "In Telangana, it is a fight between the Congress and the BJP's B team, BRS. Like we defeated the BJP in Karnataka, similarly, we'll defeat their B team in Telangana. During the opposition meeting in Delhi, we made it clear to the opposition that Congress would not join the meeting if TRS (now BRS) was part of it. We can never make a settlement with the BJP's B team," as reported by ANI.

He proposed a new name for BRS viz. 'BJP Rishtedar Samiti'. While alleging how BRS joined hands with the BJP, he said, "In the Parliament, Congress stood against BJP, but TRS and CM KCR became BJP's B team. TRS extended its support to BJP for the Farmers Bill. PM Modi has CM KCR's remote control, therefore he does whatever is asked from him."

He then criticised the BRS chief and Telangana's CM K Chandrashekhar Rao and accused him of shattering the dreams of farmers, laborers, and the oppressed in the state.

While attacking Gandhi, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan said, "Rahul Gandhi's speech in the Khammam meeting was a bundle of lies, and he made baseless allegations, probably based on the script prepared by the Congress workers in Telangana. This is very unfortunate."

The state assembly elections in Telangana will be held later this year and the Grand Old Party is leaving no stone unturned to win the confidence and the support of voters.
