Hyderabad Techie Killed In US Road Accident After Surviving Earlier Crash

The deceased Prudhvi Raj, who had been working in the US for eight years, got married just two years ago.

A 30-year-old software engineer from Hyderabad lost his life in a road accident in the US. In an unexpected turn of events, the engineer was run over by a vehicle after surviving an earlier crash with his wife and friends.

In North Carolina, the deceased Abbaraju Prudhvi Raj was killed in an accident on Thursday. The techie's car had collided with an unattended vehicle on the road. However, with the help of the airbags, all the occupants of the car were saved and moved to the side of the road. Prudhvi Raj, intending to call the police, approached the crashed car to retrieve his phone. However, a moving vehicle hit him, leading to his death, as per a report on IANS.

Prudhvi Raj had been working in the US for eight years and had married just two years ago.

Prudhvi Raj’s father, Abbaraju Venkataraman, a retired employee of the electricity department, passed away two years ago. In the wake of Prudhvi Raj's death, family and friends are making efforts to bring his mortal remains back home.

To support the family, his friends have created a GoFundMe page. SriPriya Dandamraju, who is organizing the fundraiser, noted that Prudhvi Raj was the sole provider for his family.

Prudhvi Raj's cousin, Vishwanath told ANI, "He has been in the US for the last 8 years and got married two years ago. Unfortunately, yesterday morning, he met with an accident. At present his friends are coordinating to bring the body here. We are expecting to receive the body by tomorrow evening."

In March this year, a 34-year-old man from Hyderabad passed away due to a cardiac arrest in Georgia. The deceased Mahesh Chittoju moved to the US along with his wife and child 15 months prior to the incident.
