Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad, Severe Waterlogging In Several Parts Of City
The Hyderabad Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted heavy to very heavy rains in State over the next four days.
Heavy rains lashed out Hyderabad on Tuesday causing waterlogging and traffic congestion in many areas. The north-south trough now runs from Chhattisgarh to a cyclonic circulation over South Interior Karnataka & neighbourhood across Andhra Pradesh at 0.9km above mean sea level.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the East-central Bay of Bengal around September 7, 2022. Under its influence, low pressure will likely develop over the West-central Bay of Bengal within 48 hours.

September 7: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon, Rangareddy, Kamareddy, and Nagarkurnool, districts of Telangana. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely.
September 8: Heavy to very heavy rain to occur at isolated places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sircilla, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.
September 9: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon, Siddipet, and Kamareddy districts of Telangana. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, and gusty winds that will move 40 to 50 kmph are likely to occur.
September 10: Light to Moderate thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places over Telangana, including isolated areas in Adilabad, Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Siddipet, Kamareddy districts. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and Gusty winds are expected.
