Justice NV Ramana also thanked CM KCR for setting up an International Arbitration Center in Hyderabad and allocating space and funds for it.

Hyderabad: Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana on Friday told Telangana district court officers to create a supportive environment for litigants and consider the human component when adjudicating matters.

Speaking at the Telangana State Judicial Officers Conference-2022, at the Anvaya Convention Center in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Justice NV Ramana asked the judges and the judiciary to get out of the fear of the Covid-19 pandemic and take extra time seriously for the courts.

CJI said there was a need to make progress in the matter of pending cases. He said practical approaches for target practice would show excellent results. The system of district courts is like a foundation for the entire judiciary, and if that foundation is strong, then the judiciary will be vital, said N.V. Ramana

He also advised the judicial personnel to stay at par with changes in the law and improvements in other fields such as science and technology.

CJI thanked Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for his quest to keep the justice system in Telangana at the forefront and recalled how KCR generated about 4,320 jobs in the judiciary. He lauded the boost in government jobs in Telangana.

He also said that the benches in the Telangana High Court had been increased from 24 to 41.

Justice NV Ramana also thanked CM KCR for setting up an International Arbitration Center in Hyderabad and allocating space and funds for it. He noted that with several global companies located in Hyderabad, the centre would ensure early resolution of disputes and thus, contribute to strengthening of the economy.
