According to the police, during pre-Holi celebrations on Sunday, one group utilized loudspeakers near a religious site. In response, members of another community, offering prayers, objected to the noise level and requested a reduction in volume, leading to verbal altercations. Subsequently, both groups, including women, engaged in physical altercations.

Police swiftly intervened and dispersed the groups. It was noted that the loudspeakers were operated without prior notification or authorization from law enforcement or relevant authorities. The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is currently enforced in Telangana due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections scheduled for May 13.
