Caught On Camera: 5-Year-Old Bitten To Death By Street Dogs In Hyderabad
According to the ABP Desam report, the young child was identified as Pradeep, a resident of Bagh Amberpet.
In a heart-wrenching incident, a five-year-old child was mauled to death by street dogs near his father's workplace at a housing society in Hyderabad on Sunday. The boy was rushed to the hospital for treatment but was declared brought dead. The horrific incident was recorded on a CCTV camera.
"Hyderabad | A 5-yr-old boy, Pradeep mauled to death by stray dogs on 19th Feb. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead. Gangadhar, the boy's father and a security guard had taken him to his workplace and the dogs attacked him while he was roaming alone," news agency ANI tweeted.

According to the ABP Desam report, the young child was identified as Pradeep, son of Gangadhar, a resident of Bagh Amberpet. Gangadhar had shifted to Hyderabad with his family for work.
Report said that Gangadhar was working as a security personnel in an automobile workshop and had taken the child to his workplace. In the CCTV footage, the boy can be seen walking around when street dogs attacked him. Upon hearing his child's cry, the distraught father rushed to the spot and took him to a nearby hospital. However, Pradeep was declared brought dead.
Reacting to the incident Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao said, "We've been trying to tackle street dog menace in our municipalities. We've created animal care centres and animal birth control centres. My sincere condolences to the family and we'll ensure that our best is done so that these incidents are not repeated".
"Our biological waste disposal also needs to be upped. So, we'll certainly do everything in our capacity. My sincere condolences to the family, I know I can't bring back the child. I'll do everything in my capacity so that this does not repeat again" Rama Rao further said.

This is not the first time stray dogs have killed or attacked a child. There have been several such incidents where stray dogs have attacked children, women, elders, and vulnerable members across the country.
