'Hate Speech Fastest Way...': Owaisi Says PM Modi Rewarded 'Fringe Element' T Raja By Revoking Suspension
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed the BJP for revoking the suspension of Telangana MLA T Raja Singh who was suspended for alleged derogatory remarks on prophet Mohammed.
AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has attacked the Bharatiya Janta Party and PM Narendra Modi for revoking the suspension of its Telangana MLA T Raja Singh. Owaisi said that hate speech was the fastest way to promotion in BJP under the leadership of PM Modi. T Raja Sing was suspended in August last year for his alleged derogatory remarks on prophet Mohammed, days after BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma was suspended for the same reason.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Owaisi said that PM Modi has rewarded "fringe element" T Raja Singh and the party might also give its "blessings" to Nupur Sharma.
"@narendramodi has rewarded his dear “fringe element.” Quite sure that Nupur Sharma will also get her blessings from the PM. Hate speech is the fastest way to a promotion in Modi’s BJP," Owaisi said in the post while responding to the lifting of Singh's suspension.

The suspension of Singh, an MLA from Goshamahal, was revoked on Sunday and his name was announced in BJP's first list of candidates for Telangana assembly polls. Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy said the party considered Singh's explanation in response to the show cause notice served by the party earlier.
Singh took to X and thanked PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J P Nadda, General Secretary B L Santhosh, Union Minister and Telangana BJP unit chief Kishan Reddy and other state leaders for revoking his suspension. He also expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for giving him a ticket to contest the November 30 polls.
In August last year, Raja Singh was suspended from the BJP following his alleged controversial remarks against "Islam and Prophet Mohammed" in a video which was later pulled down by the social media platform where it was uploaded. Sing was then arrested under the Preventive Detention Act.
Later, the Telangana High Court in November 2022 set aside the PD Act invoked against him and granted bail.
