Some people are the admin of the group. If you're also an admin of a group, this news is for you. If the group violates the WhatsApp policy, you may be arrested. We are telling you about 5 such policies. If these are violated, you can face jail.

1. When anti-national content is shared

If any anti-national content is shared on any group, not only the sharer but also the group admin is held guilty and in such a case both may be jailed. A similar case was recently reported in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. If you are a group admin, you should ensure that no such content appears on the group.

2. Sharing someone's personal image and video: It is illegal to share someone's personal photo and video without the permission of the person. If a user on the group circulates someone's photo and video, the admin will also be held guilty of breaking the rules and maybe jailed.

3. On promoting violence: If any such content is shared on any group, which encourages violence between any community, religion, and people or spoils the atmosphere, the group admin may be arrested and jailed.

4. On sharing pornography: Sharing objectionable content like pornography on WhatsApp is also prohibited. Especially if any content related to child pornography is shared on a group, the group admin may be jailed.

5. On spreading false news: The Government of India is very strict against fake news and fake content. A law has also been made regarding this issue. It can lead to complaints against those running fake news and fake accounts. If a group violates this rule, the admin is also held guilty and may have to go to jail.
