Xiaomi India has launched the Xiaomi 360 Degree Home Security Camera 1080p 2i in India which comes with enhanced night vision, intelligent motion detection and real-time two-way voice calling.

Xiaomi India has launched the Xiaomi 360 Degree Home Security Camera 1080p 2i in India which comes with enhanced night vision, intelligent motion detection (AI human detection) and real-time two-way voice calling. The security camera will be available via both online and offline stores.

Xiaomi 360 Degree Home Security Camera 1080p 2i will be available at an introductory price of Rs 2,999. The security camera will be available on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in, Flipkart and other retail stores across the country.

According to Xiaomi, it has upgraded its security solution to empower consumers to take control of their security from any location with Xiaomi 360 Degree Home Security Camera 1080p 2i.  With 1920x1080 megapixels full HD video, the camera captures a full 360 degree horizontal view as well as a 108 degree vertical view, thus, producing sharp and smooth video footage.

There is an invisible 940nm infrared LEDs for enhanced night vision for clearer night-time images. The camera also comes with AI Human detection that combines AI with deep learning technology that optimises the algorithm and filters out false alarms.  Along with it, the camera also offers two-way voice calling along with active noise reduction technology.

The home security camera can be paired with a Xiaomi Camera Viewer app that would let the users record videos and even take snapshots. With the app support, the users can operate the camera remotely, set preferred recording times, and view historic recordings on the app. The Mi Home Security Camera 360 Degree 1080P offers two types of storage options: MicroSD cards that offer storage of up to 64GB and NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices. Xiaomi has said that Network Attached Storage servers that will store recordings are located within India.
