Vivo V50: Specifications
The Vivo V50 introduces several upgrades while retaining some key features from its predecessor, the Vivo V40. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset found in the previous model. The device continues to offer a dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors. However, Vivo highlights that the new model uses different 50-megapixel sensors for improved performance. For selfies, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera. The 6.78-inch quad-curved FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate remains unchanged from the V40.
In terms of design, the Vivo V50 carries forward the aesthetic style of the V40 series but introduces new colour variants: Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Night. It features a glass back and a slimmer profile, measuring 7.39mm in thickness and weighing 199 grams.
One major upgrade is the battery, which has been increased to 6,000mAh from the 5,500mAh capacity of its predecessor. Additionally, charging speed has improved, with support for 90W fast charging, up from 80W on the previous model.
The Vivo V50 also boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering advanced water and dust resistance typically found on premium flagship devices. The phone incorporates AI-powered features such as Circle to Search, AI Transcription, and AI Live Call Translation. Vivo also claims that users can expect an enhanced photography experience with the new camera sensors and software improvements.
