Thomson QLED TV Range Launched In India With Google TV In 3 Variants: Check Details

French consumer electronics brand Thomson on Thursday launched its QLED TV series with Google TV comprising three models with 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch sizes.

With the festive season approaching, electronics brands have started with big-ticket launches. French consumer electronics brand Thomson on Thursday launched its QLED TV series with Google TV comprising three models with 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. Thomson is offering the new QLED TV range at the price of 4K TVs with prices starting from Rs 33,999 for the 50-inch model. The 55-inch model costs 40,999 and the 65-inch model costs Rs 59,999.

The French consumer electronic brand is currently in the 4th year of its operations in the country after it re-entered the India market with its series of Smart TVs.

The new QLED TV range from Thomson competes with the likes of the Samsung Crystal 4K Series Ultra HD Smart TV (costs Rs 32,990) and Xiaomi Mi TV 5X 43 inch LED 4K TV (costs Rs 31,999), but both these models are available in 43-inch sizes.

The Thomson QLED TV range would be available on e-commerce site Flipkart during its annual festive extravaganza The Big Billion Days. The new Thomson QLED TVs are completely frameless, the company claims and come with with Dolby Vision with HDR 10+, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround, 40W Dolby Audio Stereo Box Speaker, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and Dual Band (2.4 + 5) GHz Wi-Fi, and Google TV among other features.

We have more product lineups for the rest of 2022 and are always grateful to our loyal customers for keeping Thomson on top," Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of SPPL, the exclusive brand licensee of Thomson in India, said in a statement.

Thomson is expecting to touch unprecedented growth in the year 2022 and said it would continue its efforts to tap the vast untapped market potential that India presents.

The new range of Thomson QLED TVs come only in a single colour variant: black. They come pre-loaded with OTT apps such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hotstar, Zee5, Apple TV, Voot and more.
