Sony has recently launched the Inzone Buds, its latest truly wireless gaming earbuds. Developed in collaboration with the esports team Fnatic, a professional London-based organisation participating in various games such as Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, FC Online, Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, and Valorant.

Sony Inzone Buds Specifications

Equipped with active noise cancellation and personalised spatial sound, the Inzone Buds offer up to 12 hours of continuous usage. Powered by a low-consumption L1 processor, the earbuds aim to facilitate extended gaming sessions without interruptions. The inclusion of quick charging allows for up to an hour of playtime with just a 5-minute charge.

Sony has designed the new earbuds with minimal ear contact to ensure gamers can enjoy long and extended gaming sessions without discomfort.

The device supports a 2.4 GHz wireless connection via a USB type-C dongle, offering lower latency compared to Bluetooth LE Audio with the LC3 codec. Sony claims latency under 30ms, and notably, it does not support traditional Bluetooth codecs like SBC, AAC, aptX, and LDAC, underscoring its gaming-oriented focus.

In line with contemporary trends, the Inzone Buds incorporate AI technology, featuring Sony's AI-assisted microphone to enhance audio clarity during gaming.
