Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to be launched on January 17.
Samsung is poised to introduce its highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 17. The lineup, speculated to include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones, may hit the shelves in key markets by the end of January.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Pre-Order Benefits (Expected)
Following the launch on January 17, pre-orders for the flagship devices are expected to commence shortly, accompanied by various incentives as per leaked information shared by South Korean blogger Naver.
Reportedly, Samsung plans to provide a storage upgrade for all pre-ordered Galaxy S24 models. Customers opting for the 512GB version may receive an upgraded 1TB storage variant of the same smartphone. This promotional strategy mirrors previous offers seen with the Galaxy S22 and S23 series, according to a SamMobile report. The report suggests storage options for the Galaxy S24, ranging from 128GB to 256GB, while the Galaxy S24+ may be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations.
While specific details remain undisclosed, the Naver blog post hints at additional perks, including discounts on Galaxy Buds FE and the Galaxy Watch for those pre-ordering the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Specifications (Expected)
Leading up to the launch, leaked specifications for the Galaxy S24 series have started circulating. Notably, details related to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus suggest a design in an Onyx Black finish. Although the rear design shares similarities with the Galaxy S23 Plus, distinctions are apparent. The leaked information suggests an increase in display size from 6.6 inches to 6.7 inches, accompanied by an upgrade in RAM from 8GB to 12GB. This enhancement is speculated to align with the integration of generative AI features.
Among the anticipated features is 'Live Translate,' allowing real-time language translation directly within the Samsung Phone app. Another feature, 'Generative Edit,' promises the ability to manipulate or remove objects in photos and fill empty spaces, requiring an internet connection for advanced functionality.
The leaked details also shed light on the photographic capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Plus, including 'nightography zoom' for improved low-light photography and a high-resolution 50-megapixel camera. Despite inadvertent disclosure, the official unveiling by Samsung is awaited to provide a comprehensive overview of its flagship device.
