Samsung Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 With Triple Cameras Announced: Check Out Price In India, Specifications

Samsung has officially launched its latest additions to the Galaxy A-series lineup with the introduction of the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G smartphones in India. These new devices come with a host of features catering to the non-premium smartphone user.

Both the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G boast expansive 6.6-inch AMOLED screens, offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smooth visuals. One of the standout features of these smartphones is their triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, promising high-quality imaging capabilities.

In terms of software, the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G come pre-installed with Android 14, with Samsung guaranteeing four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches. The devices are also equipped with hole-punch displays and hefty 5,000mAh batteries supporting 25W fast charging.

Under the hood, these smartphones are powered by octa-core chipsets, with the Galaxy A55 speculated to feature an Exynos 1480 SoC and the Galaxy A35 possibly housing an Exynos 1380 SoC. Camera-wise, the Galaxy A55 boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, while the Galaxy A35 offers similar capabilities with slight variations.

Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port, catering to the needs of modern users. Both devices also come with a fingerprint sensor for added security and IP67 water and dust resistance.

Samsung Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 Price Yet To Be Announced

As for pricing, details were not available at the time of launch, but Samsung is expected to reveal this information during its upcoming Samsung Live event scheduled for March 14.

The Galaxy A55 5G is offered in several configurations, including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage options, while the Galaxy A35 5G comes in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB variants. Both models are available in a range of vibrant colour options to suit different preferences.
