Redmi 12 Colour Variants Leaked Ahead Of India Launch

The global variant of the device has been launched in Midnight Black, Polar Silver and Sky Blue colours.

Redmi 12 is set to be officially unveiled in India on August 1. The phone was earlier launched in June in several regions globally. The handset is likely to be launched in the affordable smartphone category which is not seeing a lot of launches these days. The Redmi 12 would go on sale on e-commerce platform Amazon.in and Flipkart. A new leak suggests that the phone would be launched in two colourways in India. The device has already been released in Thailand and a few other markets, globally.

The Redmi 12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage. A 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired fast charging comes with the device. According to a new teaser, the colour variants of the upcoming smartphone in India have been released. The Redmi 12 would be launched in Jade Black and Pastel Blue colour options in India. There could be a triple rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera at the front.

It should be noted that the global variant of the device has been launched in Midnight Black, Polar Silver and Sky Blue colours.

In terms of optics, there could be a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The cost of Redmi 12 in Thailand is TBH 5,299, which roughly translates into Rs 12,600 for the 8GB/128GB storage model. However, there is no guarantee that the device would be similarly priced in India. official The official price would be revealed on August 1.

It is being said that the Redmi 12 could be priced around Rs 12,000-Rs 13,000 in India which means it would go against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy F44 and the Poco M5 Pro.
