Realme 12 Pro+, 12 Pro Spotted On BIS Certification Site, May Launch In India Soon

According to leaks, the lineup will probably feature the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, both of which have recently appeared on the BIS certification site, suggesting a liekly launch in India.

The Realme 12 Pro+ was recently spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification site with the same model number. According to a GizmoChina report, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ bearing model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, respectively, obtained India's BIS certification on December 8. Notably, the Realme 12 Pro+ with the identical model number had previously surfaced on Indonesia's SDPPI certification platform.

The Realme 12 Pro is likely to be priced at CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs 25,000) in China for the 12GB RAM and 256GB model, with expectations that the Indian model will fall within a similar range. Notably, Redmi has already confirmed the arrival of the Note 13 series in India in January 2024. The Realme 12 Pro series is poised to compete with the Redmi Note 13 Pro phones in what promises to be an intriguing battle for the best phone under Rs 30,000 in 2024.

Meanwhile, the Realme GT5 Pro, a flagship, was officially unveiled in China last week. Boasting shared specs with the OnePlus 12, the phone is the latest to come with top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, coupled with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB of UFS 4.0. Keeping things cool, the GT5 Pro incorporates a sizable 12,000mm2 vapour chamber.

The Realme GT5 Pro has made its debut in China and there is no official information about its global launch.

At the forefront, the Realme GT5 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display panel with a resolution of 2780x1264px. It supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2,160Hz and an impressive 4,500 nits of maximum brightness. The panel can reach up to 1,000 nits under manual control and 1,600 nits with auto brightness on. Additionally, it features an embedded fingerprint scanner.


Similar to the newly-launched OnePlus 12, the Realme GT5 Pro flagsip device also comes equipped with a hefty 5,400 mAh battery, supporting by rapid 100W proprietary wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
