Poco F6 Launched In India. Price, Offers, Specifications, More

The Poco F6 was officially launched in India on Thursday (May 23). The new Poco F6 smartphone features a 120Hz AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and 120W fast charging support. The Poco F6 appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which launched in China last month.

The Poco F6 is priced starting at Rs 29,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also comes in two other variants: 12GB + 256GB priced at Rs 31,999 and 12GB + 512GB priced at Rs 33,999. The first sale is scheduled for May 29th at 12 pm via Flipkart. ICICI Bank credit card holders can avail of an instant discount of Rs 2,000.

The smartphone has been made available in two color options: Titanium and Black.

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, making the Poco F6 the first phone in India to feature this chipset.

The smartphone is equipped with ‘AON’ (Real-time response to action), which uses gestures for specific actions such as moving to the next screen and answering calls. Additionally, the Poco F6 features NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, Dolby Atmos, and dual stereo speakers.

The smartphone provides up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. To manage heat dissipation, it features Poco IceLoop cooling technology, a first in the country. Poco claims that this technology is three times more effective than the vapour cooling systems offered by other smartphone makers.

In the camera department, the Poco F6 boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it features a 20MP front camera. Poco has also included AI features like "Magic Erase," which allows you to remove objects from photos, and AI bokeh to add bokeh effects directly from the gallery.
