The latest OnePlus flagship series will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 for the 9 and 9 Pro models while the 9R may feature the Snapdragon 690 processor.
Besides the smartphones of the OnePlus 9 series, the company is also going to launch a smartwatch called the 'OnePlus Watch'.
The company's long-term partnership with camera pioneers Hasselblad has garnered a lot of buzz ahead of the launch.
Pete Lau, Founder and CEO - OnePlus shared a Tweet revealing the design of the upcoming smartphone. Besides unveiling the first look for the phone, the firm also announced that it has entered into a long-term partnership with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad. The upcoming OnePlus 9 series will also come with a new Hasselblad Pro Mode offering accurate and natural colour for a solid foundation for post-editing.
The OnePlus 9 series will be launched through a virtual event at 10 am EDT (7:30 pm IST). It will be live-streamed through OnePlus' official website and YouTube channel.
