OnePlus 12 Series Launching Today: When And How To Watch Event Livestream In India

Handset maker OnePlus is set to officially unveil the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India today (January 23) at its "Smooth Beyond Belief" event. The new OnePlus 12 series of smartphones, already launched in China in December 2023, will now be introduced to global markets, including in India. The detailed specifications for both devices are already known, courtesy of the leaks and rumours. The OnePlus 12 will feature the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset while the "affordable" OnePlus 12R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

How To Watch OnePlus 12 Launch Live

The event will be live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook, X, formerly Twitter, as well as OnePlus' official website, with a physical launch event being held in New Delhi.

OnePlus 12 To Cost More Than OnePlus 11

According to reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Indian pricing details for the OnePlus 12 was revealed on X, formerly Twitter. As per the information shared, the price of the device will start at Rs 64,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the premium 16GB/512GB variant of the OnePlus 12 will be priced at Rs 69,999.

Notably, the OnePlus 11, released last year, started at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and reached Rs 61,999 for the 16GB/256GB variant. The tipster additionally posted that sales for the OnePlus 12 are slated to commence on January 30 in India. Moreover, prospective buyers interested in the budget-friendly variant in the series, the OnePlus 12R, may need to hold off until February.

A leaked listing on Amazon India also revealed that the device is an unlocked version in the Flowy Emerald colour. It verifies the device's specifications, including the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a triple rear camera system with a 50MP wide-angle camera, 64MP periscopic sensor, an additional ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 48MP shooter. The device will feature a 2K, 120Hz higher refresh rate display, and it will be powered by a substantial 5,400mAh battery supported by 80W fast charging.
