Nothing Phone 2a Revealed In Unboxing Ahead Of March 5 India Launch

Various leaks and rumours have already hinted at key specifications such as storage, camera capabilities, battery life, pricing, colour options, and the overall design of the phone.

The Nothing Phone 2a is scheduled for launch in India on March 5. The company has recently confirmed details about its System-on-Chip (SoC) and now, a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, reveals the Nothing Phone 2a in a white colour variant. Continuing the trend of previous models, this upcoming device features a transparent rear panel. Positioned at the top centre within a pill-shaped camera module, the dual rear camera unit adds to the phone's sleek design.

Various leaks and rumours have already hinted at key specifications such as storage, camera capabilities, battery life, pricing, colour options, and the overall design of the phone. Additionally, the UK-based OEM has now unveiled the design of the upcoming smartphone. The model appears in a single colourway and features a redesigned back panel compared to its predecessors, Phone 2 and Phone 1.

"An unboxing like no other. Phone (2a) just dropped in London. Launching 5 March," Nothing posted on X.

It is likely to be positioned as an upgrade over the Nothing Phone 1, offering toned-down features of the latest flagship while maintaining a more affordable price point than Phone 2.

Encircling the camera module of the Nothing Phone 2a are LED modules integrated into Nothing's signature Glyph Interface. Two of these units form circular arcs, while another is vertically positioned on the right-hand side of the back panel.

The company has previously announced that the Nothing Phone 2a will be equipped with a 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, boasting 12GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. Nothing CEO Carl Pei has also confirmed that Phone 2a units sold in India will be locally manufactured.

Meanwhile, the smartphone is not the sole product slated for release on this date. Carl Pei's Nothing has confirmed that its sub-brand, CMF, will introduce the Neckband Pro along with the CMF Buds Pro alongside the Nothing Phone 2a.

Noted tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) recently said that the Nothing Phone 2a might carry a price tag of Rs 30,000 in India. The leakster also mentioned the possibility of a limited release in the US, with an expected price of $400 (which is approximately Rs 33,200).
