Motorola Moto Edge X30 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 May Launch In India in Early 2022

The smartphone that will be launched in early 2022 is expected to be called the Edge 30 Ultra, and will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.

New Delhi: Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship and a rebadged Moto G model are expected to launch in India in early 2022. The phone that will be launched in early 2022 will most likely be the Moto Edge 30 Ultra and it will be equipped with the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.

A rebadged Moto G model is also expected to join the Edge series flagship. Since Moto G31 and Moto G51 have already been launched, the new Moto G model is expected to be called Moto G71 5G. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 5G chip. 

Expected Specifications Of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra And Moto G71

A report from 91Mobiles has leaked this information, which is yet to be verified by Motorola. Therefore, the devices' specifications cannot be stated with surety. Some of the leaked specifications of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship include a 144Hz OLED display, a 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup, a 60MP selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging, and up to 16GB RAM as well as 512GB storage. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will be the best part of the device. 

Moto G71 may retain the same specs as its global variant. Since Motorola's Moto G models are designed in accordance to the preference of Indian consumers, it would be interesting to see what upgrade Indians get with the G71. 

Motorola's Edge 20 Pro is the topmost variant in the Edge 20 series, and runs on a high-end Snapdragon 870 chipset, and a versatile triple camera setup. Motorola Edge X30 is believed to be Motorola's latest flagship for 2022. It will be launched as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, as per rumours.
