The Motorola Razr 50D is gearing up for its debut in the Japanese market next week. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, a dedicated launch microsite on NTT Docomo's website has revealed key details, including the release date, pricing, and specifications. The listing also showcases the phone's design and available color options.

From the images and specifications, the Motorola Razr 50D closely resembles the Razr 50 currently available in India. The clamshell foldable phone is expected to feature a 6.9-inch primary display along with a 3.6-inch cover screen, offering a familiar yet premium foldable experience.

Motorola Razr 50D: Price, Colour Variants (Expectations)

A microsite on NTT Docomo's website has revealed key details about the Motorola Razr 50D, including its launch date, pricing, and pre-order information. According to the listing, the device is set to launch on December 19, priced at JPY 1,14,950 (approximately Rs 65,000).  

For those opting for instalments, the phone can be purchased by paying JPY 2,587 (around Rs 1,500) per month. Pre-reservations are already open, with pre-purchases beginning on December 17. The listing also confirms that the Motorola Razr 50D will be offered in a White Marble color variant.

Motorola Razr 50D: Design, Specifications & What We Know

The clamshell-style Motorola Razr 50D features a rounded-edge design closely resembling the Razr 50. It seems to be an exclusive variant for NTT Docomo, based on the standard Motorola Razr 50. The original Razr 50 debuted in India this September at a price of Rs. 64,999 for its single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.

According to the listing, the Motorola Razr 50D includes dual SIM support (nano + eSIM) and features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED main display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, complemented by a 3.6-inch external display. Its camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary lens on the back, alongside a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 4,000mAh battery, an IPX8-rated water-repellent body, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The device measures 171x74x7.3mm and weighs 187g.

The Motorola Razr 50 launched in India features similar specifications, including a 6.9-inch main screen and a 3.63-inch cover display. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset and includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 32-megapixel camera sits on the inner display for selfies and video calls. Additionally, it boasts an IPX8 water-resistant design and a slightly larger 4,200mAh battery.
