New Delhi: In the past decades, technology has taken a giant leap forward. With this immense rise in technology, many companies are now launching foldable smartphones. After Samsung and Xiaomi, Microsoft has also launched its foldable smartphone, called the Surface Duo 2. This phone has two HD foldable full screens and three cameras. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor for lightning-fast and lag-free performance.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphone has been launched in three variants. The first variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at $1,499, or about Rs. 1,10,660. The second variant with with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at $1,599, or about Rs. 1,18,041. The third variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage is priced at $1,799, or about Rs 1,32,806. These smartphones are available in Obsidian and Glacier colour options.

Specifications:

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphone features an 8.3-inch screen, with a size of 5.8 inches when folded and a resolution of 2754×1896 pixels. The refresh rate of its display is 90Hz. The phone works on Android 11 operating system. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor for superior performance. It is also equipped with 8GB RAM.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphone has a triple rear camera setup for photography, with a 12-megapixel wide angle lens. It also comes with a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. It also has a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The battery size of the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphone range is yet to be revealed. It is also not known whether it will come with fast charging support. The smartphone features 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC for connectivity.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphones will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone. This foldable smartphone by Samsung features a 7.55 inch main screen. It also has a 6.23 inch secondary screen. This smartphone will have a main display of 6.7-inch, while the cover display screen will be 1.9-inch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It has 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The phone also comes with a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel primary camera. It has a 4,400mAh battery for power, which supports 25W fast-charging.  The phone is available in Phantom Green, Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colour options. It is priced at Rs 88,999.
