iQoo 13 To Launch In China Next Week: Here's Why The Phone's Camera Will Be A Standout In Segment

iQoo 13 has been confirmed to release in India soon, but an official date is yet to be announced.

iQoo 13 Launch: iQoo is all set to unveil its new iQoo 13 series in China on October 30, as confirmed by the company following the Snapdragon Summit, where it was revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will power the smartphone.

The Indian market won't have to wait long, either. iQoo India has announced that the iQoo 13 will soon arrive in India, available for purchase through Amazon and the iQoo India online store.

However, realme is expected to be the first to release a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone in India, likely in mid-November, positioning the iQoo 13 launch for later in the year, possibly in November or December.

Why Is iQoo 13's Camera Unique?

iQoo 13 will come with a rear camera panel with a unique 'Halo' ring light. At the price point, this feature ensures that iQoo 13 stand out from the crowd when it comes to camera modules. Users can choose to activate or deactivate the halo light as they see fit.

iQoo 13 Specifications

The iQoo 13 will boast a 6150mAh third-generation silicon carbon battery, a significant jump from the 5,000mAh battery in its predecessor, the iQoo 12. This larger battery is paired with a lighter, slimmer design, maintaining a focus on portability without compromising power. The device will continue to offer 120W fast charging, though there's no mention yet of wireless charging.

For gaming enthusiasts, iQoo has equipped the device with its self-developed Q2 gaming chip, capable of delivering PC-level 2K super-resolution and up to 144 FPS for smooth gameplay. The smartphone will also feature advanced cooling technology, including multi-layer graphene and a 7K ultra-large area VC heat spreader.

The display is another highlight, with iQoo partnering with BOE to bring a 6.82-inch 2K+ 144Hz flat screen. This display supports ultra-narrow bezels and incorporates the world's first OLED circularly polarised light technology for eye protection.

In terms of aesthetics, the iQoo 13 will come in multiple colour variants, including Isle of Man Green, White Legendary Edition, Black Racetrack, and Gray.

Other key features include dual speakers, a powerful 1016H motor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
