How To Turn Off WhatsApp Blue Ticks - Step-By-Step Guide

There are many useful features in WhatsApp, but not everyone knows about them. Today we will discuss one such feature which is important to avoid any arguments with your near and dear ones.

Often, our friends and family members get angry about something. The matter escalates to a level that we do not even want to reply to their messages. However, in WhatsApp, the blue ticks can indicate to the sender that we have read their messages and sometimes we are forced to give them a reply. But there is a feature in the app in which the sender won't be able to determine whether you have read the message even when you have indeed viewed their texts. Use this feature
Step 1: To turn off Blue Tick, go to WhatsApp's Settings.
Step 2: Now, go to Account.
Step 3: Tap on the Privacy option.
Step 4: Finally, turn off toggle read receipts to off. After doing this, the blue tick feature will be turned off.

How to block a contact
If you want to block someone on WhatsApp, follow these steps.
Step 1: Open the chat of the person you want to block.
Step2: Now, click on the menu and select the option 'More'.
Step 3: You will see the option 'Block'. Tap the icon to block that contact.
After blocking, the blocked contact will not be able to see your Display Pic either.
