Google Pixel 9 Pro Leak Surfaces. Here's The First Look Of The Flagship Phone
Similar to last year's Pixel 8 Pro, the Pixel 9 Pro features the power button and volume rocker on the right side of the device.
The Google Pixel 8, released just a few months ago, hasn't stopped leakers from obtaining early images of the upcoming Pixel 9. OnLeaks, a trusted source, has revealed renders to MySmartPrice, showing details of the purported Pixel 9 Pro flagship device. The images suggest it could a device with flat edges, reminding of the Apple iPhone. One of the key changes to the Pixel 9 Procould be a refreshed camera island with triple sensors.
In line with its annual routine, the tech giant is likely to unveil its flagship Pixel line of phones in the latter part of this year. We have already witnessed the launch of powerful and competent flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 line and the OnePlus 12 series, which was unveiled only yesterday. The leak by MySmartPrice, in partnership with OnLeaks, gives 5K renders showcasing the premium Google Pixel 9 Pro wlong with a 360-degree video unveiling the design and dimensions of this upcoming flagship.

Pixel 9 Pro May Get This Design Change
Similar to last year's Pixel 8 Pro, the Pixel 9 Pro features the power button and volume rocker on the right side of the device. Notably, Google has altered the SIM card placement, and it is said to be located at the bottom of the device alongside the USB-C charging port.
According to reliable leakster OnLeaks, the Google Pixel 9 Pro is expected to feature 6.5-inch flat display, slightly smaller than its predecessor. This is likely to make it more handy. The smartphone from the search engine giant will include a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The renders validate that the Pixel 9 Pro will showcase slim bezels on all sides of the screen.

OnLeaks has further confirmed, as depicted in the renders, the right side of the device will host the power button and volume rockers. The left side will remain uncluttered, except for antenna markings. The bottom of the device may house the USB Type-C port, speaker grille and SIM card tray.
While there are no concrete details about the device's technical spces, such as the inclusion of a temperature sensor, we're several months away from the anticipated release of a new Pixel phone -- a customary occurrence for Google every fall. It is pertinent to note that a more distinct redesign could be crucial for the upcoming Pixel 9 to distinguish itself, especially with the recently revealed AI-rich Samsung Galaxy S24 and the impending launch of the Apple iPhone 16 later this year.
